L’Eau D’issey is what many fragrances should be, it’s simple yet beautiful. It’s soft, yet slightly aquatic, feminine and floaty. It’s quite hard to describe but it turns a little bit woody at the base. Many perfumes have since tried to copy this, but L’Eau reminds the original and the best. The scent can be quite strong, so I would not wear this in an office environment, but whilst out sight-seeing or shopping, it’s a perfect fragrance. A lovely signature scent, the only let down is the poor staying power.
