As a smaller volume of water is heated, the F1479FDS6 is more economical with electricity, when compared with equivalent non-steam washing machines. The Stand-By Power ZERO feature also ensures that it won’t continue to consume electricity when it’s not on. A massive 9kg drum easily accommodates larger items such as curtains or duvets, although the machine will adjust the amount of water and steam it uses automatically, should you decide to wash less.
