Although the bulk of the generic pokemon stories are pretty much always the same you never tire playing them. Pokemon Platinum is the next level up in pokemon games, I thoroughly enjoyed every minute! Read full review »
Great game, worth it for hardcore and casual players alike
Every time a new dual series pokemon game comes out (ex: Pokemon Diamond and Pearl) it is followed by a better version that fuses the two and allows you to catch both of the legendaries from each game, adds a new legendary pokemon, and gives more features than either of the two preceding games... pokemon platinum - great
great product. bought it to go w/ my diamond version. already having the other version made the 1st half of the game very boring, but the bonus features and extra pokemon storage were worth the cost. Read full review »

Great fun
These games really are great. Although they all have the same basic layout and objectives, I find them very hard to get bored of, despite being much too old for them and having been playing every one made since pokemon yellow.

'I want to be the very best...'
At 22 I still remember pokemon taking over my pre-teen years and swallowing me whole.
I picked this up for my DS to relive those moments and it kind of worked! The new pokemon aren't anything compared to the classic original 151 but you can still get those in-game! With over 400 pokemon to...

No Change- Just More Pokemon
Pokemon: Platinum is basically an enhanced port of Diamond and Pearl. Some new monsters, new world, but same old gameplay and mechanics since the gameboy days. Only poke fantics should buy this average port. Read full review »

Pokemon still has it!
The game keeps to a similar format that it always has where a new trainer goes out into the world of pokemon to earn gym badges and to foil an evil teams plans. In this case it is Team Galactic. Some might think that this could mean that it is too similar to others in the series but why change... Read full review »
