Cons Not much replayability

On the simple term: This is a "lawyer game",
You would be completely excused if you instantly thought that this was a crap idea. I, to be honest, thought the exact same thing when I first heard of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.

But seriously, I could not have been more wrong.

I can't emphasize enough how in love I am with this game. I savored every minute of my time with this game. Holy crap! First of all, this game is the first and best out of all the others in the phoenix wright series. The plot is just soo suspenseful, dramatic, and mind-boggling. The storyline is... Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney, is a game in which you play a lawyer, who must solve the cases that he is presenting in the court room.  The game is thoroughly enjoyable, hence all the sequels following its success.  You must sift through the evidence you have collected to find the clues that will... OBJECTION!!! Super game, very funny

Pros Easy to pick up but very addictive
Cons Some could find it uninvolving or slow paced

This is the first in a trilogy of Phoenix Wright games and introduces us to the character and some of the other crazy folk that pop up throughout the series.

It basically takes the form of 2 different phases, the first being the investigation where you search around for clues and ask... Read full review »

I first purchased Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney after being strongly recommended to do so by several friends, but I was fairly skeptical as to its entertainment value. I mean, a video game based on courtroom drama?

But all my expectations were overturned. This game is not only addicting,... Read full review »

The Nintendo DS and Wii are two systems that encourage the development of "innovative" games because of their lack of power compared to the PSP, Xbox 360, and the PS3. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is a perfect example of a DS game that's a little different. I originally bought the game to serve as... Read full review »

Ace Attorney is a game published by Capcom, its sort of like a visualizing novel categorized as adventure- video game. It's sort of like a remake of the Game Boy Advance version called Gyakuten Saiban. Ace Attorney DS uses the stylus and the touch screen as its main controls.

When the DS was first released I was expecting a lot of new kinds of games to be output onto the platform. One of the more oddball releases was a port of a GBA game that had never made it out of Japan. Did I mention that this particular game happens to be a story driven lawyer simulation? That's a... When I went to purchase my Nintendo DS Lite, I had planned to pick up one or two games for it at the same time, which made sense. The problem was, I had no idea which games I wanted. I had heard great things about Animal Crossing: Wild World, as well as Super Mario Kart: DS. Still, I wanted... Read full review »

More GBA to DS nonsense from Capcom

Phoenix Wright is unusual as far as game protagonists go. He doesn't wear a ninja costume or command a platoon of leathernecks. He's not an acrobat, nor can he materialize fireballs in the palms of his hands. Hell, the schmuck can't even wield a single weapon, much less a second.
