The whole house
I bought this to control my entire house, I have speakers in 7 rooms of my hose and I use this to put the music to them. It was easy to set up, great sound for the price, second to none. It even has an I pod attachment for it, you can not go wrong with this product. Read full review »
Great sound!
I bought this for home use. It works perfectly..reads mp3 formats and all music cds. Also, you can hook up an ipod to this through an AUX input. However, the remote provided can only control the unit's sound and not the ipod. Also, it is pretty bulky and hard to carry around with you if you prefer... Read full review »
Big Big sound from a little unit!
Fantastic piece of equipment. Does not take up much room, and in fact looks quite nice too. Good that it comes in a choice of 3 colours. The sound from this little unit is so crisp & clear, even after reading several positive reviews before purchasing I was pleasantly surprised. Very easy to use... Read full review »
Bose Wave Music System - Little System, Big Sound
I had been eyeing the Bose Wave Music System for years but at a cost of $499.00 I could never justify the cost. After several disappointing experiences with stereo systems over the past twenty plus years, we just wanted a nice sounding music system in the main living area of our home. The lion’s... Great compact music system
A few things to keep in mind about this radio from Bose.
1. It's very compact. It takes up very little space and can fit in almost anywhere including the bathroom or kitchen. It works great as an alarm clock in the bedroom because the sound gets louder slowly instead of just shocking you...

Bose: it's good but it's not magic, which fools rush to expect.
In fine, the Bose Wave music system is a little wonder.
Reading reviews here and there, it's clear that people who don't like this system expect things it wasn't meant to do. Some complain that it doesn't do what a multi-thousand dollar multi-speaker room-filling bunch of equipment will...

A Pricey Bose System But Is It Worth The Incredible Sound...?
Years ago my father had bought the Bose Wave radio before it had a cd component. My dad is a huge fan of Bose products, especially after he bought the Bose Quiet Comfort 2 Headphones. With the initial Wave unit the sound was good but we could never appreciate how good it could be because you could... Read full review »
WISH I GOT IT YEARS AGO
Mine black Bose was a Christmas present in 2006 and I love it. I had wanted one for some time and wasn't going to treat myself, so my sweetie drove to the Bose outlet which he thought was the place to purchase it. It could have more easily been purchased online without the added sales tax. There... Read full review »
It's a $500.00 Clock Radio
First Let me say that I own the newer Bose Wave CD with the front loading CD player and an iPod attachment and I DO like it.
I also feel it's VERY VERY VERY over rated and over priced.
The Bose Wave is worth $199.99. Someone in the Bose Marketing department came up with the idea...

Expensive, but good.
What this system is worth to you will depend on your usage. It will not replace a decent quality micro sound system. If you have the space, a micro system would provide better value. However, the Bose is a lot more compact. We use ours in our kitchen. It is perfect for this use.
We tried...

Good sound, small size great styling
Don't believe the marketing hype. This unit will not be as good as a component system costing far more. That said I am a musician and audiophile so I know good sound. The price isn't that bad when you consider that the original unit cost the same 15 years ago. Factor in inflation and it's a lot... Read full review »
I love my Bose music system!!
I have owned my Bose Music system for about 6 months now. The sound quality is every bit as good as they advertise. I have it sitting on my nightstand near my bed and I still get good stereo separation. The louder I play it, the better it sounds without any noticeable distortion. On older CD's or... CAN YOU SAY RIP OFF?
As a former musician and long time audio buff, recent developments had me exploring the purchase of the BOSE WAVE MUSIC SYSTEM.
Recently, I decided to sell my audio system. We are talking about 15,000 worth of stereo equipment here. I only mention this because as a musician, I know music,...

A great investment for serious music listeners
Okay. The system is expensive. No question about that. But, for serious music buyers, this system is excellent. I bought this product for entertaining. I was tired of cranking up a big stereo system in another room. And, the smaller boom box I have doesn't perform well. The Bose Wave Radio is a... Read full review »
Over priced, I just don't get it...
I have re-written this epinion to be less sarcastic and more helpful to the potential buyer. You will see that I have rated this product as 'below average'. I have done so not because of the quality, but rather because of the cost/performance ratio. It is a lot to spend for the sound that I heard,... Read full review »
The Wave music system & the truth about Bose and their products

So-so performance for the money. Failure prone remote.
I bought it because I was fairly pleased with early Bose speakers and in-car sound system and I was enticed by the ads.
Now I conclude that the Bose Wave Radio is a good alarm clock and very expensive radio. It has overly basey sound with no tone controls. FM reception is OK, AM reception...

In a word: A fantastic system...
We bought a Lifestyle system a while ago while there was a promotion, where you got a free Wave Radio/CD.
I was impressed at the time with the Wave Radio/CD - but it did seem to be a bit expensive. Nevertheless it did provide a natural, powerful sound.
A year later they brought...

All Hype, It's An Expensive Radio
The hype is just that... it's a radio a with decent bass... nothing more nothing less... worth about $150 bucks at most.
