Toshiba 32RV753 32 LCD TV or the Samsung UE32D410 32 LCD TV?
Choosing between different TV brands can be a daunting task. With so many models to choose from and all with very similar technical specifications, picking the right tv can give you a headache – especially when it’s between two great brands like Toshiba and Samsung…
Is the Toshiba 32RV753 the better TV?
The Toshiba 32RV753 is compact, easy to use and even easier to set up. Within minutes of getting the instructions out I had figured out how to use this tv. The picture quality was crystal clear and I loved how slimline it looked on the Toshiba 32” LCD Wall Brackets – I was nervous of hanging it up at first but it really is a very lightweight TV!
Although most buyers often opt for Samsung as it is a well established in the LCD arena, Toshiba are rising in popularity. They are well known for producing reliable sets and the Toshiba 32RV753 is no exception. This durable, attractive and very easy to use TV is testement to Toshiba’s hard work and diligence when it comes to television design and manufacture.
Samsung’s version is technically more stylish opting for a light coloured rim much like Apple products; however personally I prefer the shiny black Toshiba TV as it looks better with my consoles, speakers and set top box. The Samsung tv also has PIP (Picture in Picture) which is a nice addition – although I’m not sure how necessary it is. I mainly used the PIP when trying to decide between a number of programmes to see which caught my eye.
Sexy, smart and light the Toshiba 32RV753 32 inch TV really is great value for money. There was however one small issue I had with it as the sound quality wasn’t quite as good as other similar models such as the Samsung UE32D4010 which has surround sound. Saying that though, the picture quality is much better with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
One Toshiba 32RV753 review described it as a ‘revelation’ and I have to agree. If sound quality and technical additions such as PIP are not your thing then I really recommend the Toshiba Regza 32RV753 as it is so easy to use and the picture quality is outstanding.
I have to say that, if the Toshiba 32RV753 is anything to go by, Samsung have got a strong rival in the fight for top LCD manufacturer. The Toshiba LCD TV range is looking strong and I think that in a few years they might just overtake some of the bigger brands in the arena – so my recommendation is to buy now before everyone else realises and prices start to increase.Guides for LCD and Plasma TVs
