Shoe Heaven
This page is about my favourite topic - shoes! You can never have too many shoes, but the key is to get it right - don't just buy for the sake of buying, think about what it is you want them for, how often you'll wear them, and what you already own, before purchasing. Just like when you buy clothes!
Do it that way and you'll find you end up with a fantastic shoedrobe, ensuring you have a vast array of shoes - from timeless classics to quirky but cool fun choices!

Hot Heels
Every girl needs a nice pair of black shoes, and these are perfect! Plain enough for work, but funky enough to make you stand out from the crowd too! Love them!
There's a big debate on heels for the season, trendsetters say it's all about the flats, and kissing goodbye to the skyscapers (for now). Personally, I love my heels - they have a time and a place sure, but anything that makes my legs look longer and leaner and me feel great won't ever be gathering dust in my shoedrobe!
To wedge or not to wedge
Wedges are fast becoming a summer staple, but with so many different styles available, it's hard to know what to chose! I'm fussy with wedges, but I like dark brown - matching an oaky heel.
If you're feeling particuarly on trend, team it with a pair of socks for a cutting edge look! If you fancy this, dark blue canvassy type wedges look good with even darker socks, a la Leighton Meester. She's the only person I've seen looking good in that style so far, but I loved it on her!
Sparkle in the sunshine
A pair of gorgeous flip flops is the perfect must-have for the beautiful summer I am *sure* we are going to have! A pair like this are great, not only are they well made, but they're pretty, and every girl likes pretty. I'm a big fan of sparkles and detail on flip flops - it takes them from casual (which they still can be), to something you can wear for work, dinner and drinks (not clubbing though!)
Fabulously Flat
As I mentioned above flats are in this season, and it's an area you can have a lot of fun! I've only picked one pair here, a rather stylish pair of cream ballet pumps, giving a nod to the nude trend of the season, but you can really go to town with colours and patterns with this style of shoe.
Everything from bold to print can work - and work well, when paired with a nice outfit, from dressed down jeans, to a pretty summer dress. The thing to remember here is quality, I've often fallen victim to buying cheap flats, but they are something you will wear so much, my advice is invest! Buy good, and buy a few pairs - that way you can have a pair for every day of the week!
