Top Hedge Trimmers

The Flymo Easicut 450 watt Hedge Trimmer is my favourite. It looks smart and stylish, probably not the first thing you’d want from a hedge trimmer but it’s an added bonus. It’s designed to make cutting even the most untidy hedges much easier, and can tackle even larger shrubs and hedges. The blades are double sided making it easy to go back and forth to ensure and even and tidy cut, and has a 450 watt motor so it’s nice and powerful to get the job done quickly. The handle is designed for ultimate comfort, on a job that isn’t always a very comfortable one to do. All Flymo products are designed to the highest standard, so it won’t need much maintenance and is guaranteed to last. This hedge trimmer also has a unique feature – its retractable power cable which means that you can easily store away the cable when it’s not in use for tidy storage.

My final choice is the Draper Expert 26cc Petrol Hedge Trimmer. This one is more suitable for larger gardens, where cables would not be practical. It offers expert quality cutting for ultra neat hedges and shrubs, and would be suitable for pruning trees and shaping shrubs artistically too. It has a 2 stroke petrol engine, and the back handle is adjustable to five positions giving you the most comfortable grip, which adds to the safety of this device.
