Nintendo Wii Buying Guide
Should i buy a Nintendo Wii?
The Nintendo Wii was the start of a new era of gaming. The Wii has grown so much since being released. Introducing the Wii Fit was a massive step for Nintendo and with so many people cancelling their gym memberships as they use the Wii Fit more and more, this just shows how good the Wii really is and the impact it has on the lives of the owners.
Lets have quick look at the features of the Nintendo Wii
Wireless Motion Controllers
The first in gaming history, get more interactive with the game as the contoller uses your movements to interact with the game. Playing bowling is now like been at the bowling alley and is extreme fun as you have more players on the go at the same time.
Wireless Connectivity (WAN)
The Nintendo is wireless capable, meaning you can use your Wii to either browse the internet or interact with other Nintendo Wii users across the globe.
Design
The Wii has been designed so you can use the machine either on its side or flat, this should give the user the advantage of been able to sit the Wii pretty much anywhere without it looking out of place. The Wii now comes in many different colours such White, Black & Red.
Graphics
The Nintendo Wii hosts an ATI Radeon graphics system which i have to admit isn't really the best and is probably the only thing that lets the Wii down, especially when you put it next to gaming consoles such as the PS3 & Xbox 360. You can buy an HD lead for the Wii for around £10 that does enhance the graphics a little which is what i have done, but still not brilliant. Still this doesn't affect the playability and fun that you will experience while playing this console.
I chose the Nintendo Wii (black) as it fits in with the other media equipment i currently own and i also use the Wii Fit package which is a great workout for after work.
