Playstation 3 Buying Guide
I want to buy a gaming console but should i buy a Playstation 3?
The slimline playstation is really the way forward if you're going to choose to start console gaming. Lets just look at a few features the PS3 has to offer.
Slimline Profile
With its sleak and sexy look the slimline PS3 will looking great in you're livingroom as part of the mediacentre or just as good in the bedroom. Where ever you decide to put the PS3 it will certainly look in place.
High Definition Graphics
The PS3 boasts a fantastic graphics system giving the user the ability to play games in full high def 1080p. If your tv isn't HD compatible then not to worry as the PS3 can also be used in standard AV mode.
High Definition Sound
Along with the HD graphics system, the PS3 will also pipe out an unbelievable HD sound system, making all your games sound so real.
Blu-Ray
The PS3 is certainly a mediacentre in its own right, hosting a blu-ray drive you will save £££'s on buying one.
Wireless Connectivity (WAN)
If you don't like wire all over the house then the WAN feature is the tool for you, easy to setup and has a good range.
Ethernet
If your like me and still like the thought of an 100% stable connection and think 'you can't beat wires' then you'll be very happy to know that the PS3 comes with an ethernet port.
Software
The built-in PS3 software is very good, there are settings for everything from changing the theme/colour of your menu system to advanced settings such as systems settings. There is really too many settings and feature to possible write down here. But believe me the PS3 software knocks the pants off of the XBox 360 any day.
