Too many times have guitars been dropped, for the sake of spending a few bob making sure it never happens. It happened to an old Gibson LP Custom of mine, it still pees me off everytime I pick it up and see the big chip in the paintwork. These 'Marvel' straplocks - a completely new product to the market - are by far the best design I've ever seen. They're even better that the Schaller ball-bearing design. Quick nip on the lock and the 5 ball bearings release from the strap button and the strap is free. Believe me, it would take something severe to make these fail.
