Delivery was as stated with no unexpected additional costs

I ordered the washing machine on a Wednesday night and I was told in the order confirmation email that it should be delivered within 7 to 10 working days. I received a phone call from Hotpoint the next day to arrange delivery for the following Monday. The machine arrived just after 10am on the Monday meaning it was delivered direct from Hotpoint in just 3 working days. I found 24electric.com to offer an excellent service and I saved almost £200 on instore prices for this particular item. I would definitely not hesitate to use them again if I found something cheaper on their site than anywhere else.

The only problem I had was when I tried to phone customer services and got no answer.

After ordering a treadmill from this company as a Christmas present on the 7th December i am still waiting for this to arrive, being the 16th working day after being quoted 5-7, this i find totally unacceptable and will not be ordering from them again.

Service, delivery & price excellent but tracker told me virtually nothing maybe I should have registered but I was not prepared to do that for one delivery.

Not ordered off the internet before. Can't believe how easy it all was. The vacuum cleaner was delivered within 32 hours (and just before christmas), much quicker than expected.

The price was the best on the market and it was slightly scary trusting a name you did not know. The goods arrived when they said, having notified me by phone, in good condition. On checking before the phone call, it was difficult to get an answer because they appeared (possibly unfairly) to be a smallish organisation swamped by Christmas orders. However it arrived when they said it would.

I ordered an elctric hob from 24electric.com. The description was very vague, yet the photograph of the item was clear. The first problem was that I had to phone a seperate courier to arrange delivery. This was hard as the number I was given was incorrect. On arrival, the hob as wrong. It was the right reference number, and matched the picture. Turns out the picture was wrong. After over an hour on hold to custome services, they tried to charge me 20% of the value just to return the item. This was completely unaceptable, seeing as I have to contact the couriers myself again. I have still got the incorrect hob and they still have my money. I will not be dealing with this company again. I have spoken to my solicitor about my standings regarding this issue.

We ordered from this site as the product we wanted was the most competitive price. It was an easy site to use and the product arrived within 2 days of ordering. I was very pleased by the service, and would use them again.

One product arrived on time, the other early. Tracking system didn't work - no data. Only complaint is that I want a satnav for the car - and they don't sell them! Means I shall have to look elsewhere... Will certainly use them again for anything they do sell.

Unlike most other situations, this problem was one of cancelling an order, a mere 2 working days after placed. I did exactly as requested but received no acknowledgement nor confirmation of this request. I was contacted by a local distributor (this end) to check delivery date and had to advise them the order had been cancelled well over a week ago. I have sent at least 2 subsequent e-mails, of the appropriate type and to the appropriate 'address' but have heard nothing. Needless to say my payment has not been reimbursed. I object strongly, in any event, to payments being deducted before an item is dispatched; if not illegal, it should be and is clearly contrary to the practice of better trading companies.

Price & ordering of goods - very good We were not notified of the delivery date prior to the goods being delivered and it was only by luck that someone was in the house to receive the goods.

tv broke down after 3 months tried to get into contact with the seller but business was closed down " in administration" i have since found out that the tv set i bought was in fact second hand i am also considering speaking to trading standards

It took 5 e-mails to confirm the delivery address which was different, when tracking the order on line, to that which they had on their records when I had to (eventually) phone them!!

although product arrived on time had to wait a week for the paid for connection, had to reconnect my old cooker had to drag it back through house.engineer told us that the old one would be collected yesterday 26th or today at the latest but still here not good service,paid £60 for the privellidge.

I selected to buy with the finance credit offer and it took 6 days and not 24 hrs as promised to confirm the finance offer and a further 24 hr to confirm the sale. There is a defect with the dispenser drawer and I am waiting a response to my e-mail sent to sales@24electric.com on 25 Nov. I feel my next purchase of a diswasher will not proceed with 24electric if I don't get a reply in the next 24hr.

Not a problem with 24electric, just with the delivery company. Who would struggle getting a beer in a pub.

Simple easy to use website. Could be improved by allowing a delivery date to be chosen on all orders as the majority of people work during the day and a call at 9pm from the delivery company the night before delivery is insufficient warning.
