When I trie4d to contact 24 electric I couldn't get through on the phone and my emails were not answered. I was told I'd be called before hand to arrange a suitable delivery time when in fact I was called when the driver couldn't find my addess. This was inconvenient.

When I orderedc my LCD TV I knew it was out of stock. I was kept updated on when the product would be re-stocked and as soona s it came into stock it was despatched quickly.

the washer dryer arrived promptly, but the first one was seriously damaged with a top that didn't fit and a big dent in the back. After many phone calls I eventually found the right number from hotpoint, who replaced the washer within the week. I therefore had to take two days off work, but did at least end up with the product I ordered.
The freezer has never arrived. I have telephoned LEC and they have no record of the order - ie you promptly charged my credit card but never actually ordered the item from LEC. I have been unable to contact you by phone and you refuse to ring me back. E mail correspondence is very slow (I'm waiting 2 days now for a reply) and completely unhelpful. You provide an absolutely dreadful service. I wish I had never ordered the tings with you.

The goods did arrive in the time origianaly stated but towards the end of it which was very disapointing and anoying when there was a desperate need for the goods. When you quoted delivery time, it was adhered to though.
We would shop with you again, but would want written and therefore contract information with which to stick to as to speed of dispatch and therefore urgency of delivery.
A section on your order for for people like us who need fast service, even at a cost, would improve the service.
Your comments by return would be apreciated, lets see if your customer relations are any better than delivery

Searched on the web for the LCD TV I wanted at the best price. 24electric were the cheapest and their website said it was in stock. It was then I made my first mistake, I purchased the TV online and paid on a Debit card not a credit card. I waited but the TV didn't arrive. I contacted 24Electric but they said they were out of stock. I asked to cancel the order and followed their procedure of sending them an email to cancel it. They took the money. It then took me a week of phone calls, at least 5 every day to get my money back. I complained to Norwich Trading Standards about them and it was then that I learned about the "Legal" scam that a lot of companies are running. The advertise goods that they may or may not have on the web at better prices than anyone else and if an order is placed using a debit card they take the money and are legally allowed to keep that money for 30 days before giving a refund. Had i used a Credit card VISA would have chased them immediately. I am not saying that 24Electric were or were not doing this but they certainly didn't put themselves out to give me a credit. They even had the goods in their shop but wouldn't sell them to me. I eventually bought the same TV from John Lewis with the same warranty for £113 more. At least I got the goods. I would never buy from these people again unless they dare to try to convince me otherwise???

The goods were sent without any additional packacking for protection. Consequently the box was damaged upon receipt.
Mt credit card was charged at the time of order - many days before the order was shipped.

The main problem was trying to get through to customer services, the phone line was constantly engaged on the morning I wanted to get through to someone, but this is better than getting through to an automated service and paying to wait to speak to someone.

I found the website very user friendly, experiencing no difficulty in placing the order. My order was delivered direct from the manufacturer, and they kept me informed of the delivery date and time of delivery, which eliminated any undue waste of time awaiting the delivery.

When ordered the item was expected to be in stock the next day item then went out of stock.
E-mail responce to delivery delivery enquire took over a week only to be informed item out of stock.
They fall down on keeping customers informed

I have purchased many time on line and this is the worst service I have received. All the time the purchase was in progress I was told the item was in stock. As soon as it was completed it suddenly became out of stock. I read the feed back but did not take any notice of the bad responses. I wish I had now as this was a gift for a birthday which has now passed.

The product was not in stock, when I finally spoke to someone on the phone, I was told that the manufacturer did not have stock, and they could not say when it would be available. However, money was taken from my credit card, & whilst it was finally refunded, I would not recommend this dealer to anyone.

This was a trouble free purchase,and the price was cheaper than anywhere else.

A really quick and efficient service. The order was passed direct to the manufacturer who arranged delivery. 3rd party delivery company rang and arranged delivery at a time suitable to me. What was good was that they gave a 4 hour delivery slot which meant that I didnt have to wait in all day.

Ordering our Hotpoint Fridge/Freezer was fine, but the feedback about delivery dates was poor. The web site never gave us any useful information about the delivery which -as we found out- would come direct from Hotpoint. When we found this out, we made all the delivery arrangements with Hotpoint themselves and never heard from 24 Electric again except to say the order had been fulfilled.
So overall ok, but a bit more feedback would be nice.
