24electric were fine.
However the delivery experience was far from acceptable. Bosch did not contact me to arrange delivery.
I then received a message from the carrier telling me that my delivery was going to be the next day which was a problem as I was on the other side of the country! I called them back advising them of the promblem and was told that they would ring back the next day and arrange an alternative date.
The next day I then recieved a call from the carrier's driver saying that he was outside my door trying to deliver the goods!!!
I have to say that the driver was excellent in his customer care and waited while I called a neighbour who then took delivery on my behalf.
As far as the question about would I use 24electric again, I have put yes but it would depend on price.

Unsatisfactory service #1: After order was placed I emailed retailer asking to be advised of date of delivery so I could arrange for time off work to accept it. 24electric responded saying item was not in stock and that they were awaiting a further supply from the manufacturer. In fact, the order had already been shipped. The courier's notification to me of failed delivery did not specify the sender or nature of the item so I erroneously assumed it was for a mail-order parcel I was also expecting and so did not arrange for delivery until the end of the follwing week. At no time did 24electric advise me that my purchase had been shipped as I had requested.
Unsatisfactory service #2: Following the installation of my purchase I submitted a report of a potential fault and a request for advice to 24electric through the 'contact us' link on its website. I never got a response.
CONCLUSION. 24electric's price was excellent value for money. Delivery time would also have been excellent had I not been given misleading information about product availablity. Failing to respond to a fault report is completely unacceptable - on-line purchasers of bulky high-price items cannot simply take them back to the retailer so need to know that the same level of support as that from a High St outlet is there.

The goods did not arrive when promised(on 2 occasions) meaning that one and a half days days had to be taken off work. When goods failed to arrive on the 2nd occasion the goods were cancelled. Although promised that refund would be made directly to my credit card on receipt of goods at warehouse this has not happened. In short payment for goods was taken from my credit card on the 5th Sept.The goods were never received and cancelled on Tuesday 19th Sept and to date 25th Sept no refund has been forthcomming.

Goods arrived quicker than promised but order tracking was non-existent. I rang to find out when they would be dispatched because it was still unconfirmed on the web-site and was told 'tomorrow'. The goods had obviously already been dispatched because they arrived the day they were meant to be being dispatched! This does not inspire confidence - also they should clearly state that the invoice must be printed from the web-site. The goods arrived with NO delivery documentation at all, which seemed very strange.

Good selection of goods at a competitive price. Delivery of goods not up to speed though. Goods delivered without no prior warning and left with neighbours. This needs to be looked at. All in all, I would shop again with this merchant

We received the Washing Machine on the 10th working day after placing the order. We did not receive any notification of the arrival of the goods until we recived a mobile phone call fron the dtriver delivering the goods a couple of minutes before arrival. At this time the web site was indicating "Awaiting Despatch". It is only by luck that we happened to be at home at the time. Otherwise no problems. ERF

Excellent service, but order tracking gave false delivery date that did not match the advertised delivery. Actual delivery was in line with advertised service.

24 electric were inconsistent wih their responses ie , at time of order goods were 'in stock' a week later a ,ail satted out of stock & no conforned delivery gadate, they failed to respond to any mails we sent, not a high recomendation re communication.

I would use this supplier again because of the competitive prices but I had to ring them to find out when my goods were due to be delivered. Dishwasher came yesterday, 19th September and still waiting to hear about fridge freezer. The phone manner of operator was terrible, she sounded very bored and was generally unhelpful. I had to phone delivery agent myself as well and they were even worse, female operator was almost rude. I spent over £500 with this supplier and expect courtesy in return. Hopefully I might be lucky and eventually get delivery of fridge freezer before the end of September although no one could tell me for sure. They need to improve the manners of their telephone operators.

no problems - site worked delivery was on time and not sent by Parcel Force who make it extremely difficult to get the parcel if you are not in when they try to deliver the first time.

Purchasing was OK, but the items were out of stock. I waited 2 weeks, as suggested, and then asked 24Electric for an estimated delivery date but they didn't respond to my enquiry.
One item has now been delivered, the other is still awaited after 3 weeks.

I experienced trouble free on line shoppping - only slight problem i had was when i had cause to phone a couple of times and on various occasions no one answered the phone at all. When i called back and someone did answer they were helpful.

I have been waiting almost 4 weeks for delivery that was supposed to arrive within 7-10 days. 24 Electric has not replied to any of my emails, and they never pick-up their phone. I have had to take next steps in recouping my money through Visa as they have failed to deliver within 30 days. I would not recommend using this supplier.

Price was excellent and delivery proved to be very fast. Trouble was the delivery advice from the merchant was too broad - 10 days- and by the time they had responded to my emailed request fro more information the goods ahd arrived! Customer expectation these days is for better data throughout the transaction, including when the goods have been despatched, etc.
