I was reasonably impressed. The order came pretty much when they said it would be. The delivery was smooth and the company even organised two people to put the fridge/freezer into the house, which they didn't really have to do (if you read the conditions). The price was a lot lower than any competitors that I could find.

The order was placed online at approximately 5.00pm Sunday evening. Got phone calls from the delivery guys the following Wednesday morning giving rough time of visit: called later with more accurate time. Delivered at approximately 6.00pm in perfect condition. Can't do better than that!

Good communication, prompt and helpful after sales customer care dealing with a minor manufacturing fault to the finish of the goods. Quickly agreed a solution dispite a dismal response from the manufacture.

Delivery co damaged floor on delivery.

Only drawback is that delivery is one-man only, to doorstep. Hardly practical with an appliance of this size. This aspect is not explained until you have ordered the appliance - very unhelpful.

Delivery was the problem - it was taken to a house several doors away and the delivery man allowed a complete stranger to sign for it and take it in! We do not even know the person who took it. Our instructions to you were completely clear that we would be at home at the specified time. When I offered directions I was told the deliverer had GPS and would therefore be able to find us!

Irritating that they couldnt give me a delivery date until the day before proposed delivery - oaver a week after I bought the dishwasher - but goods were delivered when they said they would be and into the house, not just on the doorstep.

The phone call from Appliance City to confirm they received my order was particulary welcome.

Very happy with pre-delivery service from Appliance City. They always returned my calls and the delivery date/time arrangements were to suit my convenience. The staff were really helpful and friendly and gave the impression they had my best interests at heart and that they genuinely cared about my order. Jeff deserves a special mention in the team who organise the delivery details. However, really disappointed with the delivery experience itself. There was just one man to deliver such a bulky item and he was not prepared to make an extra effort to get the item into the kitchen. He said he was simply there to deliver to the address and not to take into kitchen. Being on my own this would have been an impossible task. Luckily the John Lewis store delivery men arrived with my bedroom furniture and offered to help and suggested the fridge be taken out of main packaging to help move. However the Appliance City delivery man said that once it was out of external packaging he was not allowed to touch it. He also brought it in on a pallet (ie. not on a trolley with wheels). The pallet has scraped my original wooden floorboards in the hallway and the laminate floor in the kitchen.

Excellent service throughout.I ordered a fridge on their website site very late in the evening.I received a call from a guy called Jeff on my mobile the next day advising me that a delivery was scheduled for the next morning.Sure enough,it arrived.The packaging had to be taken off in order for it to fit through the door.As the delivery charge is for a 'one man' delivery,I had to help the despatch driver to lift it over the door sill.A bit tricky in view of it's size,otherwise no problems.
