Boots kept me informed all the time as to what stage the delivery of my tumble dryer was at - by text and phone calls.
As I have a Boots Advantage card, I was able to claim £13.50 to spend in store - excellent!

Excellent really, just could have done with slightly more thoughtful delviery guys, who could have put a rug down before bringing the machine in - the floor was covered in mud and rainwater, including my carpets!

I like the fact that you can chose when (and see which dates are available) for the delivery. Appliance was not able to be delivered on time - an e-mail was sent telling me of the alternative delivery. As we'd chosen a saturday to begin with, it would have been good to have been given the nearest available saturday rather than next available day of the week. Despite this, the man I spoke to was more than helpful and was no problem at all to reschedule to a saturday. Maybe in future, phoning to speak to customer would be better than an e-mail, just in case it is not checked for a while - better to speak to someone direct and make sure they get the message (only a minor comment though). Am very happy with purchase.

Easy to find what I wanted on website, easy to order. Removed my old appliance at extra cost. Advised of delivery slot the day before which was kept to. Had a friendly but rather pushy phone call from someone offering me insurance on the appliance but did take no for an answer when I was firm. Would certainly recommend to others

Having completed all details online, these had to be confirmed by an immediate (time-wasting) telephone call from the merchant. Delivery time could not be notified until the evening before so I had to allocate a whole day to wait for delivery. in the event, it arrived right at the end of the allocated 4 hour delivery slot. Clearly, delivery convenience takes precedence over customer convenience.

The dishwasher was delivered on due date at arranged time.
The rhs had a small dent and scratch for which I received a 10% discount on condition of acceptance. Only after the appliance was fitted and plumbed in did I notice the door had a slight warp. This does not seem to have affected the door seals, it still opens and shuts ok and it does an excellent job of cleaning the dishes.

Had taken a day off of work to accept delivery only to find that Boots were unable to deliver on this day. In my role I have to plan ahead and the delivery is now being made whilst I am out of town meaning that I am having to inconvenience others in order for my delivery to be made. Being honest at the point of order on when it is possible to make the delivery will avoid unneccessary inconvenience to the customer.

After not being given a delivery slot,I rang on the day of delivery to find out when it was coming to be told there was a delay and I would not be receiving it for another 12 days!! They said they rang once and left a message informing me.I never received that message. They have my e-mail address but didn't use that. The message they said they left was a week ago and gave me the option of a different appliance. When I didn't respond, that should have rung some bells that maybe they had left the message with the wrong person!! Bad communication.
The second after I had made my order on the internet,the phone rang and it was someone from Boots trying to sell me insurance for my cooker. Then he sent me an e-mail. Then phoned me a day later to see if I'd changed my mind.
Amazing how well they communicate on some levels.......

OK but disappointing that I paid for the dishwasher to be fitted & they would not remove the top for me to place it under the worktop. I am struggling to do this myself and I do not know who to get to help me. Dishwasher is now sittinig in middle of kitchen. So fitting was a bit of a waste of money. Also, although the delivery slot was between 11 & 3pm it did not arrive until 3.30pm. Also, why does the previous dishwasher have to be disconnected? This is also something that the fitters should do. So disappointing experience all in all.

I originally ordered a silver fridge freezer and booked the fast delivery service at £2.99 extra but recieved a phone call the next day to say the silver not available. I then accepted a white one instead and it came two days later than original delivery date, however it arrived as promised on the second date and I am delighted with it.

One minor misunderstanding in product description - gas cooker said to have electronic timer, which I took to mean the cooking times were programmable; however, the timer is just a clock and does not control the cooker. I realise the details may not be within your control.
Apart from that everything was fine.

High pressure sales to persuade to take out product insurance by phone after order placed. Phoned after delivery with product enquiry and unable to help at all, so little knowledge of products being sold, referred me instead to manufacturer but even then gave me an incorrect contact telephone no.

From order to delivery everything went well and although I have not yet unpacked the oven (waiting for my installer)I was pleased with the speed of my delivery to a Northern Ireland address and free delivery to boot.

it was a really good service. Although I was told that i could not really say when the delivery would happen during the time slot, i explained that I had a hospital appointment and (no guarentees given) but it arrived well before I had to go out. It was quick and easy to order and the initial phone call to confirm the order and delivery details and the follow up call after made the process feel very safe and customer friendly. I am not usually impressed, but this was really good.

We were given to believe that the carriers would ring and tell us when they would arrive. They didn't. We rang and were told between 2 and 6pm. They actually arrived at 6.30pm. Result we were stuck in all day.

The service was excellant everything in stock choice of delivery days brilliant and a text and phone call the day before to tell me time slot and also a call the morning to reduce the time slot to 2 hours so no waiting in all day the delivery men were fantastic nothing too much trouble and they took real care in delivery brilliant would and have recommended this site to my friends

The price and delivery of the washing machine was good, but i did not like the unsolicited follow up call during which I was offered a policy covering repairs. The person who called me very pleasant but clearly trained to keep me on the telephone until he had persuaded me to buy the product. Because I was not feeling well that day I agreed to do that and gave him my bank details and have since called to cancel the policy. I do not expect this kind of tactic from a reputable company.
