good range of products and efficient with delivery

it was stated that product un stock and dispatchable by fedex within 24 hrs, when i rang to get approx time/day, I was told oh sorry the last one was sold we need to wait for new stock,,I felt let down and a little deceived as the flooring we were trying to stick was for my husband who has Parkinson's and we were trying to put down a floor so that I could manoeuvre him and the equipment more easily in the room we were trying to kit out downstairs where he now has to sleep. So my feedback is that firstly.. if it was true that the last piece of stock had strangely just gone out, then I shouldn't have been the one chasing the order.. and secondly; although it may not have been a high ticket item.. it massively delayed the laying of the floor which is still not resolved... so in that sense pretty poor service and has deterred me from using this company again

The order was not shipped immediately although items were listed as in stock. The tracking system merely said "in progress". When I chased diytools for the order it came the next day. So, the items were excellent, but there seemed to be a fault in the system which did not, in fact, progress the order. There was not explanation offered.

good, ordered goods had to be chased even though they were stated as being in stock (were apparently awaited from supplier). However this was not a big issue as my order was not critical time wise, and the price was excellent.

On the whole the service is good my only complaint is a further charge for delivery to the highlands (Scotland) Why there is a charge for this service I don't know, do you charge for delivery in Cornwall or Kent which are just as far from you as I am. In fact the roads to my address are much better than the roads in Cornwall so there is no excuse for the extra charge and I would not have ordered the goods in the first place if I had known. Thios also goes for my neighbors friens and colleagues we do not order from companies that charge extra for dlivery here. Not every company has this ludicrouse charge and there is a campaign in the highlands not to shop with companies who add the extra carriage charge for the highlands. So I suggest you look for a carrier who does not demand this extra charge there are many to choose from.

I couldn't find details on-line of the correct quantaties of glue and varnish needed for the tiles, I had to guess.

The 'search' worked well, lots of choice. However, some items did not have dimensions, or other details which I needed.

i was told that my goods would be with me before the end of the week (i had to ring as my email was down) i rang on the thursday to ask if it would be that day or the friday and was told that i would be rung back, this didn't happen so i rang again and was told it wouldn't be delivered until the monday. i rang on the monday only to be told that 90% of the work force were on holiday!(what a way to run a buisiness) and that it would be delivered on the tuesday. it did arrive and had a piece of paper attatched that said next day delivery so who knows when it would have been delivered if i hadn't been chasing it up.

excellent, unfortunately product required was out of stock, as soon as it was available it was despatched to my satisfaction.
