In addition to the hot swap PCI slots, disks, power supplies and cooling fan trays, the Sun Fire V880 server offers other enhanced RAS features. These include Automatic System Recovery (ASR) and Remote System Control (RSC). ASR configures around many failed components, thereby allowing the restoration of service.
