Allied Telesyn's AT-FH612TX and AT-FH612TXS Fast Ethernet hubs provide an economical, high performance, stackable solution for power workgroups and departmental legacy LANs that need increased response time. The hubs support 100Base-TX connections using either Category 5 unshielded twisted pair cable (UTP) or Type 1 shielded twisted pair (STP) cable while strictly adhering to the IEEE 802.3u specification. ??Easy to use and based on standards, the AT-FH612TX and AT-FH612TXS are the next step for hub users who need higher performance and high bandwidth. A single slave hub, AT-FH612TXS, can provide a low cost solution for 12 users. Up to five hubs stacked together provide a single segment workgroup solution to support 60 users. When management is preferred, the AT-FH612TX master unit can be included in the stack. If management is of no concern, the stack can consist of all AT-FH612TXS units.
