Altec Lansing XT1 - Good, but...

The Bottom Line: Very good speakers if you can avoid or ignore the occasional crackling, snapping, popping noises during some music play. Excellent for movies. Worth a listen.

Big Sound, Small Speakers

The Bottom Line: Highly recommend the speakers b/c they sound far better than any laptop speakers I have heard to date. They are definitely portable, very compact and sleek in design.
Review: I had read that laptop speakers were horrible and this is what lead me to purchase these lil XT1's. Reading many awesome reviews on them since last year's buy, I am still very pleased. Fresh out of the box... I put in a movie, connected the speakers...

The Bottom Line: USB powered, great sound, compact design and included carrying case for easy transport. $130 price tag is more than many of the competitors options.
