The AXIS TR Bridge is an optional accessory for AXIS 700 and AXIS 7000 Network Document Servers providing a cost efficient permanent or temporary connection to a Token Ring network.??Installation is quick and easy, as the device does not require any setup or configuration. Once installed the AXIS TR Bridge will operate automatically. Ethernet connection is made with an RJ-45 connector allowing a straight cable to run to the AXIS 700 or AXIS 7000. Token Ring connection is made using a Type 1 cable on a 9-way DB connector or a Type 3 cable on an RJ-45 connector. The AXIS TR Bridge automatically senses the Token Ring connector (Type 1 or Type 3) and the Token Ring speed (4 Mbit/s or 16 Mbit/s). Token Ring speed can also be set to fixed 4 Mbit/s or 16 Mbit/s.
