Product Description

 
Belkin offers you its Universal UPS - a battery backup for your computer. It provides up to 45 minutes of backup time. The battery load capacity of this UPS is 800VA (450 Watts). This solution provides 6 outlets: 4 battery backup outlets with surge protection and 2 outlets with surge protection only. Other features include: serial and USB ports, 1 in, 1 out RJ45/RJ11 jack with surge protection, Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR), and Bulldog Plus software that is compatible with Windows XP, 95/98, 2000, NT.

Review: A family member who lives across the hall has been using one of these F6C800's for a few years. The UPS has been used to back up a desktop computer. System equipment was a standard type monitor ( replaced by a thin type this year ), a tower computer...

Beware battery replacement if you don't live in the U.S.

The Bottom Line: Great quality power performance and components. Useless warranty support in Canada. Must know battery model before replacing batteries. Product design makes battery replacement require skill, caution.
Review: I purchased an F6C800fcUNV at Staples about a year and a half ago.

The unit is made of solid components, and is sturdy. It has performed continously well during my year and a half, so far. However, I received no warning from either the UPS...

Good protection for A/V equipment, provided the battery does not fail

Review: Update: Approximately 1.5 years after purchasing this product, the battery failed. The unit still allowed electricity to pass from the wall outlet to any equipment to which it was attached, but it no longer provided power from the battery when the...
