The Bottom Line: Great idea whose design falls short. Still, it's a good purchase for those who need to clean up the occasional spill.
Review: If you own cats, you have to expect to have the occassional wet surprise on your carpet. If you're stupid enough to own two cats, cleaning up nicely formed clumps of hair and cat food the size of pretzel nuggets becomes second nature. Combine two...

The Bottom Line: This is a small machine meant for small jobs. If you're looking to clean your entire carpet get something bigger.
Review: I bought this machine because I have 2 cats and a dog. Messes happen. I was sick of scrubbing the floor and blotting trying to get out stains. I wanted to get something to clean up messes but didn't want to spend a lot of money.

Bissell Cordless Spot Lifter: Save your Money and get a Real Cleaning System

The Bottom Line: I'd recommend taking the $39.99 you would have spent on this toy, and put it towards the $99 Hoover SteamVac, a real cleaning machine.
Review: I love gadgets. As I was walking through Wal-Mart one day, I spotted the Bissell Spot Lifter Cordless Hand-Held Deep Cleaner in a return basket. Hmmm. Looks like a great idea. Especially in view of the fact that my cat had just barfed on the hallway...
