Other features include a brushed stainless and chrome exterior, glass lid, non-slip feet, cooking rack, retractable cord and a dishwasher-safe lid and pot. A booklet with 70 recipes are also included.

For once, a better than Crock Pot slow cooker.

The Bottom Line: This is a do-all machine with infinite settings, adaptable to any medium to large slow cooker recipe. Its solid and durable construction will last for years.

The Bottom Line: Unless and until Cuisinart gets the temperature setting right, I would avoid this machine as a slow cooker.

The Cuisinart CSC-650U, in a brushed stainless steel finish, is a large capacity slow cooker with a 1 to 8-hour timer. It has 3 settings (low, high and warm) and automatically switches to 'warm' when the cooking time has ended.
