Powerful laptop; overheating danger

The Bottom Line: Good product: raw power, beautiful wide screen, SD slot, handy touchpad (takes training), DVD player; get wireless cards! Excellent HP support. Disappointed with overheating in the first year.

Review: Bought this computer in the summer of 2004 and by 2006 it was dead. It kept shutting itself off, then just died. I replaced the hard-drive, which fixed the problem for a day, then the system died again (probably the power supply). It is now an $1800...
