Not the best choice for the money.

Pros: Still, it's a ThinkPad!

Cons: Too heavy and too bulky. Looses competition with T series.

Review: In my personal opinion IBM Lenovo ThinkPad R51 is not too old, but for sure to big and too heavy. Same technologies as the ones used in this laptop can be found in ThinkPad T4 series laptops (including perfect T43). R51 was aimed to a bit different...
