Pretty good DV camcorder for the price

The Bottom Line: Good value. I thought about 3-CCD or megapixel cameras but bought this because it will meet my needs and I can buy a new camera next year at this price.
Review: We just got back from our honeymoon where we used the new camcorder we bought, the JVC GR-DX95. This review is mostly about the use of the camera, I will have to update the review later about its firewire capabilities, and video qualities.

LENS CAP ERROR sadly commonplace.

The Bottom Line: Commonly reported fire wire issues, switch to toggle between video and snapshot modes is not simple and many users report a LENS CAP ERROR on this JVC.
Review: I recommend NOT getting this JVC unit.

Search on JVC and LENS CAP ERROR can enlighten you to a troublesome situation for those of us who have purchased this unit.

No matter which camcorder you do purchase, be sure to put it...

Picture quality is not good

Review: Camcorder is good is zoom and operation. But picture quality is not impressive. Since I have not used any other camcorders, I cannot compare it with others. But I'm satisfied with this.
