These 999 LEICA M6 TTL cameras are identified by the imprint "LEICA M6 1984 - 2002" on their top plate. The imprint indicates the introduction of the camera in 1984 and its termination in December 2002. As collectors´ items, the cameras have special serial numbers ranging from 001/999 to 999/999 and are delivered in a valuable wooden box. Also included is a certificate signed by Hans-Peter Cohn, c. e. o. of Leica Camera AG, and Ralf Coenen, c. o. o. of Leica Camera AG. 999 cameras of this special edition are the last examples of this classic model whose production ended in 2002 after a run of 18 years. Pros: Completely Manual Camera Body only dependent on batteries for the Light meter's LEDs
Cons: None Worth Mentioning
The Bottom Line: The Leica M6 TTL and lense system is definitely the system to get when you can take the time to become absorbed into the moment of the shooting situation.

Pros: good optics
Cons: poor value
The Bottom Line: I owned a M6 and like it, but after a year I traded it in for a Mamiya 7 with a 43mm and have no regrets what so ever.
Review: As you read comments about the M-series cameras you will see a love it or hate it pattern. If you can live with the system limitations and money is no object the Leica maybe a good choice for you. If on the other hand money is a concern and value...
