The Magellan® RoadMate® 800 in-car GPS unit provides reliable turn-by-turn GPS guidance, plus includes a built-in a MP3 player and photo viewer. The 3.5-in color touch-screen shows your position with multiple views including a maneuver list. Simply select a destination and it will guide you through every turn. It automatically calculates the most direct route and recalculates whenever you take a detour or make added stops.

Roadmate 800 Flawed Software/Eprom

Review: I had my Roadmate 800 series returned for repairs 4 times (no kidding).  Unit would lock up when I touched the "Favorites" menu on the touch screen and I would have to turn the unit completely off and reboot the system to make it functional again. ...

Poorly designed device, horrible tech support

The Bottom Line: Avoid this unit and this company. Their products are poorly designed and they do NOT stand behind them.

Magellan Hates their Customers

Review: I got a Magellan Roadmate 360 product as a very nice gift 2 years ago, this Christmas the power port got wonky so I emailed Magellan for information on where to take it for repair. I got an email back saying they no longer support this "older model"...
