Old saw gets the chop

Pros: Compact and reliable, good for all but the heaviest cornice work

Cons: The button WILL fall off- when you lose it use a rawl plug!

The Bottom Line: Great wee chop saw, especially for cornice & pelmits- if this size of cut depth is ok with you, then this is the one to go for

Review: After shopping around for a low cost chop saw this is the fella we went for. Very competitively priced, it is nonetheless a solid saw for the construction trade. Easy to set up and atow away, we have been using two of them heavily on a daily basis...

Pros: No muss, no fuss, little clean up

Cons: Do you have a muffler?

The Bottom Line: This quality and durability is worth paying for.

Review: Though my husband is the "tool man", while building our shop and our current work-in-progress (our house and most everything in it) I have had to use ALL the tools in the shop. Needless to say, we have a lot of Makita products - saws, drills, drivers......
