an easy alternative to the ipod shuffle for low budget music lovers

The Bottom Line: good for people on a budget, but there are most cost effective players out now (I got this in dec 05)
Review: first off this is a minimal mp3 player, well you can call it that, but what it really does is converts the files to the sonicstage format if you so desire or you can leave it as .mp3 extension. however when you convert the files to sonicstage .omg...

SonicStage software/process for Walkman ---bad combo for non-techy users

The Bottom Line: If you're savvy with complicated, non-mp3 downloading and transfer, you may find this satisfactory because of weight and battery life. If not, other devices may be better for you.
Review: I am admittedly no techno-pro, but I've had a number of mp3 players...which, unfortunately, this really isn't (ATRAC is Sony proprietary format apparently). With my Samsung (loved it), Lyra (worked fine, not an RCA fan), and even a weird, cheap...
