The Nikon D3x digital SLR is a high resolution (double that of the Nikon D3) professional DSLR that features 24.5 megapixels, a 3" LCD with 920,000 dots and Live View, a 51-point autofocus, EXPEED image processing and HDMI output. Designed by Nikon to be suitable for studio and location shooting, the Nikon D3x will be particularly appreciated by nature and fashion photographers due to its high imaging resolution. The 100-1600 ISO range on the Nikon D3x is extendable down to ISO 50 and up to 6400 equivalent with up to 5fps continuous shooting at full resolution, or 7fps in the 10 megapixel DX crop mode. In addition, the Nikon D3x hosts a specially developed FX-format CMOS sensor with 12 channel read out, gapless micro lens array and on-chip noise reduction.
