Panasonic's DVD-RV41 is an MP3-compatible DVD player that also plays CD, video CD, CD-R, and CD-RW discs. A built-in Dolby Digital 5.1 channel surround decoder with speaker setting is a leading audio feature on this model. A 24-bit/96kHz DAC and an optical digital output for pure DTS surround sound are included. Other advanced audio capabilities include V.S.S. advanced surround mode, dialogue enhancer, cinema mode, and one-touch cinema memory. Combined with the Dolby surround sound capabilities, these options can enhance your home theater audio experience. Along with the convenience of CD and MP3 playback ability, the DVD-RV41 also has five smooth-motion scan speeds, on-screen menu icons, chapter preview playback, and a shuttle dial and joystick to make scanning through the discs easy. This DVD player comes with a push-button remote control, and is Energy Star compliant.

The Bottom Line: Worth the money, especially if you enjoy digital music as much as I do.
Review: Just got this one. Man, the picture and sound are great! I like the ouput options on the back - standard cable or digital out. Easy to use controls on both the unit and the remote, though the remote's reaction is a but spongy... you have to PRESS...
