Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ10K Digital Camera

Consumer Rating: Panasonic DMC-LZ10K Reviews and Ratings - Rating 4.5/5   See 9 reviews  | Write a review at Shopping.com
Information: Product details   |   Product accessories
Manufacturer: Panasonic
With both a 30 mm wide-angle Leica DC Vario-Elmar lens and a 5x zoom, this is one camera that does it all. You can fit more in the photo than you can with a 35 mm lens, so you can get more of a sweeping landscape in a single shot. The 5x zoom is great for capturing dramatic shots of small or distant subjects. There's also an extra optical zoom function that boosts zoom power to 8.9x in 3-megapixel resolution mode. The DMC-LZ10 Lumix digital camera gives you a choice of four exposure modes: program AE (P), aperture priority AE (A), shutter priority AE (S) and manual (M). This gives you the flexibility and creative freedom to capture more expressive shots. You can also fine tune the settings in the scenery, portrait, sports and night portrait scene modes on the mode dial to better suit the shooting conditions

Professional quality photographs from a top-of-the-line amateur camera

by  tiffanyjill ,  Dec 29, 2003
8 out of 8 people found this review helpful.
Pros: 12x optical zoom, 4.0 megapixel, changeable lens, changeable flash, manual and automatic modes
Cons: Lens cap doesn't attach to camera, viewfinder is stationary and exposed, no firewire connection
The Bottom Line: Digital camera with all the bells and whistles of a professional camera, but minus the pricetag. If this is what you're looking for, you've found it.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Digital cameras are now very easy to find and their prices range from cheap to expensive. If you don't know what you are really interested in when you begin your search for a camera, you are likely to choose whichever one sounds the best at the time...

Amazing zoom, decent digital camera

by  dzoey ,  Feb 6, 2004
5 out of 5 people found this review helpful.
Pros: Awesome 12x lens, image stabilization, lots of manual controls
Cons: Weak built-in flash. Indoor shots require practice. No strap on lens cap.
The Bottom Line: A great camera that especially shines when using the big zoom for outdoor nature shots.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I've used this camera for a couple of weeks now (got it mid-January '04) and feel I've gotten to know it fairly well after taking about 700 photos during our Disney World trip. I bought this camera primarily for the image stabilized 12x Zoom lens...
