Your parents could tell you all about the Supertuner III's impressive reception quality; chances are they owned an earlier version when they were young. Twenty-four presets give you plenty of room for storing all your favorite stations, and seek tuning will find them quickly. AGC (Automatic Gain Control) allows for optimum CD tracking performance. Every new Pioneer CD receiver is compatible with home-recorded audio CD-Rs. A set of preamp outputs is included for upgrading to a component amplifier. Switch on the loudness for full-range sound at low volumes.

The Bottom Line: A quality car CD player for the price, this unit has a nice clean design and sound. Easy to use. Provides the most often used, quick touch button functions.
Review: When we bought our 99 Dodge Caravan se, it came equipped with the original factory installed radio/cassette player. Having the Pioneer DEH-1100 CD player installed was the only change we made to our mini van.
