Epinions It might have been a launch title, but it's very limited.

Pros: It's great to see how the series started.
Cons: Very limited, and now is pale in comparison to the N64 version.
The Bottom Line: It's a classic, but it doesn't have much replay value. Ridge Racer 64 is a better buy and includes the original courses, along with RR Revolution, and better graphics.
Review: Ridge Racer is indeed an arcade classic and also served as one of the launch titles for the PlayStation back in 1995 (though Ridge Racer dates back to 1993). Ridge Racer has spawned many sequels, including the gorgeous R4 in 1999 and Nintendo's take on...
