The Samsung SyncMaster 940MW is a 19-inch TFT-LCD monitor delivering an ultra-fast response time of 8ms, 700:1 contrast ratio, 0.294mm pixel pitch, 1440 x 900 (WXGA+) maximum resolution, scanning frequency of 33-81 kHz horizontal and 56-75 Hz vertical, and horizontal/vertical viewing angle of 160°/160°. The SyncMaster 940MW has MagicTuner™ with W/W TV Support System and FM Radio with Virtual Dolby, BBE Sound built in speakers.

Good product went wrong

Review: I loved this monitor when I first got it because it's a great size and has inbuilt speakers, so it saves space. It also has a built in TV card so you don't need a separate television. However, after a year it has started making a loud popping noise...

A great computer monitor and acceptable TV

The Bottom Line: Recommended primarily as a computer monitor that can also be a TV.
Review: I bought this about June '06. For my situation, this monitor/TV has solved several problems at once. To start I don't have much space where I live and so this LCD TV/monitor serves dual purposes as a TV and as a computer monitor.
