Samsung SMX-K40 Blue SD Flash Camcorder
Although the Samsung SMX-K40 is technically a Standard Definition camcorder recording at 720×480 pixel resolution, it is able to upscale to near full HD quality when connected to a HDTV with 1,920 x 1,200 pixels via its HDMi output. The HDMi socket and USB 2.0 port on the SMX-K45 also mean you can easily export pictures to a computer for subsequent viewing on an HD TV. Media storage is simple and convenient with the Samsung SMX-K40 camcorder thanks to the SD (Secure Digital) card slot, which is also compatible with SDHC memory cards. The Samsung SMX-K40 also features a Schneider- Kreuznach 52x zoom lens complete with optical image stabiliser, which can be increased to 65x via the Intelligent Zoom function. What really makes the Samsung SMX-K40 stand out, though, is that all this performance is packed into such a compact, sleek and functional body that makes it both extremely portable and convenient to use.
