excellent drive: quiet, does not overheat

The Bottom Line:

Buy for its quiet operation, low heat output, electrical efficiency. Always set up hard drives in a RAID if possible.

Review: I bought one and liked it so much that I bought another. I use them in a RAID 1 (mirror) configuration.

According to my Radio Shack sound level meter, the noise output is several dB quieter than my older Western Digital drives. Subjectively,...
