TV on the go? Why not!

The Bottom Line: If you think you'll be on the road and want local TV, it's great.
Review: Once upon a time, our cable boxes and DVRs were stuck in our homes, with no way to get out..  but no more!  The Slingbox allows you to control and view whatever your device is (in my case a DVR/cable box combo from my cable company)...

Great idea, poor quality. junk 3 months outside of warranty

The Bottom Line: Skip this product.  The quality just is not here, and the company will stand behind this solid state device for only for a year. 
Review: SlingMedia has a great idea, a pretty looking box, some nice software for your computer.  Streaming of my calbe channels over the Internet works great: audio and video.  Unfortuantely after using this $250 box for a few months over a year it quit. ...

The Bottom Line: REMAINS a must have for TV/DVR lovers & travellers. Gives me the control to watch what I want, when I want and where I want.
Review: If you travel a lot and like to stay up on your favorite TV shows, this is the best solution available on the market today.

Sling box comes in a few varieties...this review is about the slingbox pro which is slightly more expensive than...
