Take home this Sony MD Recorder and some blank MiniDiscs, connect it to your current system and you're ready to record. For digital recording, your CD player (that you're recording from) will need an optical digital output. Analog recording is also possible using the standard RCA stereo inputs on the MDS-JE940, but for maximum sound quality you'll want to go digital.
