First, a little background. EA SPORTS is the athletic wing of Electronic Arts, a major interactive entertainment software company. Their new interactive golf game, Tiger Woods 99 PGA TOUR Golf, enables Internet players to play golf as, or against, the 1997 PGA TOUR Player of the Year and leading winner Tiger Woods. As EA SPORTS' web site describes the game, it's "Interactive golf gone global. Massively multiplayer."
