The clever little green LED serves as both a power and battery status indicator. The PAL borrows the same geared-down 5: 1 ratio analog tuning dial as used in the critically acclaimed Model One radio for easy, accurate tuning. Amazing sound from a little radio

The Bottom Line: If you want a portable radio with excellent sound get the PAL. Don't be put off by the retro design. The technology inside makes the radio well worth the price.

Tivoli's PAL -- Little buddy, Little sound

The Bottom Line: Clever design, nice light, water resistant case. May be fine for the beach or patio. However, $130 price tag does not justify mediocre sound quality.
