Pros: Good control, decent graphics, innovative design
Cons: Very frustrating and repetitive, too unforgiving in places.
The Bottom Line: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater is/was a grossly overrated action/extreme sports game that relied heavily on its innovative idea for its critical acclaim.

Pros: Fun and addictive, many characters
Cons: Inferior to TH 3 & 4, no manualing, poor graphics, not for PS 2
The Bottom Line: Fun & easy to manipulate
Review: Basically, this was the game to start it all. In Tony Hawk 1 [made for Playstation One only], you start off with next to nothing as a "career" and must choose a skater. You begin with one level and there are 5 goals per level, represented as "tapes", ...
