Once, there was a Blaze of Disaster that scarred Filgaia with its crimson flames. A women was summoned by the call of the Guardian Blade named "Argetlahm" - a sword plunged deep into the ground that only a hero can obtain - to save Filgaia. The women's name is Magess and was born the daughter of a nameless, petty nobleman. Seven days later, after Magess saves Filgaia, she disappears from Filgaia together with the Blaze of Disaster, leaving the Argetlahm behind. She never comes back to Filgaia. Time passes. Now Filgaia is faced with a new crisis. The people who are struggling to keep the world peace establish the Awkward Rush & Mission-Saver (ARMS). Three young heroes join as members of the ARMS in search for peace and so the jouney begins Minimize

Epinions Wild Arms 2 is well worth the money and a big time-eater.

Pros: Nice story line, long (37+ hours)
Cons: Chunky graphics
The Bottom Line: Wild Arms 2 is a very good rounded RPG with many puzzle elements and a long plot that will keep you playing this game for several weeks.

Review: One thing I'll never understand is the fascination with Wild ARMs, Contrail's mediocre PSX RPG released in early 97. While it wasn't terrible, there was just nothing special about the game besides the intro and the western-themed music. Well Contrail...
