Black screen of death after 1 year

Review: I got the "black screen of death" a month or two after the warranty expired. This is a problem in which newly filmed videos and pictures are 100% black but the camera can still play back previously filmed videos. Sony refused to extend the warranty...

Review: why? I saw it and its ok the colors need upgrading the video is great and better then regular mini dv The hd is ok... but 500 dollars more then regular? I don't think so. They are already onto the hc7 which has much better picture. To think people...
