Review: I recently purchased a new G5 iMac and a new ibook. Both had bluetooth & Airport cards installed @ apple. I decided that I would make the jump into the wireless world and pick up and Airport Express.

Talk about easy easy easy set-up.

Review: What is an Airport Express?
No it's not a fast line at the Airport check-in! An Airport Express is Apple s solution to a Portable Wireless Router and is about the size of a Laptop power adapter with the ability to supply 10 devices with...

The Perfect Wireless Companion

by  mac172 ,  Dec 16, 2007
1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.
Pros: Fairly easy to set up, straightforward, small
Cons: Limited capabilities, slow(er) printing with Macs, difficult to repair-must be repaired by Apple
The Bottom Line: This is a great device for creating a small to medium home network through internet, printer, and music sharing.

Review: After getting a Mac mini for Christmas last year, it became apparent that I should upgrade my Internet. Previously, I had been using dial-up....scary, no? Since many elements of my new computer are Internet-dependent, and I wanted a faster way...

Decent wifi router, 2-year shelf life

by  opinionkitty ,  Dec 16, 2007
2 out of 2 people found this review helpful.
Pros: Transmits wifi signal as it's supposed to, easy to set up, convenient USB ports
Cons: Takes a few minutes to reset, started malfunctioning after 2 years
The Bottom Line: Decent wifi router, but because it broke down after 2 years, I'd recommend a different brand like Linksys for a much better price with the same or better quality.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: I'm not sure what the average shelf life of a wifi router is, but my Airport Express lasted about 2 years before it started to die.

Prior to its malfunctioning, it worked perfectly fine; it transmitted a wifi signal to my Mac laptop, Wii,...

Difficult to set up, crashes often

by  mfrog123 ,  Dec 26, 2005
1 out of 2 people found this review helpful.
Pros: Looks nice, small, great idea
Cons: Doesn't work well. Setup software is poor. Very un-Apple!
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: Don't take my word for it, this is a highly-flawed product. Check the number of complaints on apple's own discussion forum for it on any given day (tens of thousands overall):
