Keeping up with the Jones'

Everyone knows the white earphones of an iPod, no matter which model it is, or how old it is. It’s just a daily part of life, look closely at what around you, you'll notice that hi-fi's have special adapters for an iPod, and your car stereos too! But what makes conforming with the crowd to get one so special? It’s simple really, music. Apple hit the nail on the head creating two services that ran hand in hand with the IPod. Its ITunes services, where you can purchase all your music and videos quick and easily, through the iTunes interface. After your purchased something, it will be automatically copied to your iPod the next time you connect it. Next up is the ease of use of the IPod. Its roller wheel works fantastically well, and after a few minutes of playing with it you’re comfortable, and not wanting to throw it across the room. Also copying your old music onto your iPod is as simple as drag and dropping, or letting iTunes copy a CD onto your computer for you. For me though, the iPod stands out in the amount of storage space available, I can never reach the suggested amount of music that you can store on the iPod, but it securely holds my many metal and rock discographies. What more could I ask for? Well possibly better video format support. As it's a pain using 3rd party software to convert my video's to play on the iPod, usually leaving the video out of sync with the audio. However if you’re looking for an mp3 player that easy to use, and will still be here in over a year’s time, looking as stylish as the day you bought it. The purchasing an IPod is a no brainer!!!
