Pros: * Powerful performance
* Sleek style * Thoughtful details * LARGE screen yet still lightweight Cons: * Pricey but worth it!
The Bottom Line: You get what you pay for with this MacBook Pro: top-of-the-line capabilities, fantastic performance, large screen, and lightweight for travel.
Review: Let me first say that I am NOT the most tech-savvy woman on the block. But, having used computers for the last 22 years (since the IBM PC and original Apple Mac back in the mid 1980s, as my father was a Silicon Valley engineer before retirement), I'm ...

Pros: Run windows better. Run Macs better than old macs, Run Unix better. Attention to detail.
Cons: Apache PHP MySQL config weird. Sometimes needs to recharge before rebooting. IE7 without windows please?
The Bottom Line: I'm not a mac fanatic, I have more PCs than macs, but I love this laptop. It is like having 3 laptops in one.

Pros: Larger Screen, Stylish Design, Easy Transition from Windows to Mac, User Friendly
Cons: Price
The Bottom Line: If you are scared of the transition from Windows to Mac - don't be. If you are thinking of buying a Mac - buy one. You'll love it.
Review: I waited a VERY long time going back and forth on whether or not I was going to buy a Mac. I think my one main concern was if I was going to transition easily from Windows to Mac. I had used a Mac way back in the late nineties - and it was so foreign to ...

Pros: Beautiful, fast, Windows and OS X on the same system, OS X stability
Cons: Gets very hot running XP, expensive
The Bottom Line: After 5 months, I feel more satisfied with this computer than any other system I've owned.
Review: As a write this, Apple has just upgraded their MacBook Pros with the latest intel processor Peryn (sp?). So, everything I say is true without regard to any speed, stability and temperature gains. I bought my MacBook Pro back in October of 2007 for ...

Pros: functions well!
Cons: weak case!
The Bottom Line: this is awesome but the screen is too big!
Review: I have had my mac book pro 17â for about a year and a half- it is my second mac, the first was a PowerBook G4. The only two complaints I have had have been case related- both have had he aluminum cases, which dent and warp. I have a speck case now (the ...

Pros: everything
Cons: nothing
The Bottom Line: Never been happier...with a computer, that is.
Review: I waited and waited to make the final decision to cross over...and SO glad I did. I considered myself a fairly advanced Windows user, so I was hard to impress. One day, while in an Office Depot store, I decided to ask the "geeks" their advice. I said, ...

Pros: sleek, slim design; speedy processing, biggest BANG for the biggest buck
Cons: the mouse does not have two buttons, which makes using the right click difficult
Review: I am relatively new to the world of Macs, and generally not the most tech-saavy woman, but it didn't take me long at all to transition from a PC to a MacBook Pro. I love the features that Mac has, and I have Boot Camp software that allows me to run both ...

Pros: My 2008 MacBook Pro caused no problems at all.
Cons: A bit heavy, gets too warm as previously mentioned, you need a real mouse.
Review: I'd like to publish a review on my 2003 Mac Book pro because strangely, after 5 years it is working just fine. One would not expect a laptop to function for 5 years, at least I would not. My six months old Sony Vaio running on Vista (reallllllly ...

Pros: Usually runs XP as well as a pc. Great hardware. Has a Mac side!
Cons: Has all the glitches of a Windows XP laptop plus some of its own. Pricey.
The Bottom Line: This is a great laptop, but running XP on it does cause problems at times. Still, because of the many advantages its worth the extra money.
Review: This review will focus on what I consider to be the main advantage of buying a MacBook Pro: the ability to dual boot to Windows and run XP programs at native speed. This is the reason I purchased it. After this, I will also share my experience with the ...
