Everything I thought it would be!

On receiving my Apple MacBook Pro 15" I was not disappointed! It looks beautiful straight out of the box, and even more so when switched on - love the glowing Apple symbol on the back, feels like a designer label when out in a public place! Also has fantastic functionality and speed, everything I have came to love from Apple products.
I purchased the 15" MacBook Pro laptop as I wanted a good sized screen on which to work on Graphic Design and illustration projects, but I wanted a laptop which still felt very much portable. To me, a 17" screen laptop does not feel truly portable, they just feel that little bit too large and a little too heavy for me to be comfortable carrying around in an oversized bag dangling from my shoulder.
The 15" screen has proved to be large enough for my design needs whilst neat enough to be portable without getting stuck in too many doorways! Obviously the MacBook Pro is heavier than the AirBook but quite frankly I could not live without a CD/DVD drive as I receive images from clients on CD and produce artwork this way also.
The one thing I do not think is quite perfected is the light sensitivity. I love how the keyboard lights when the room becomes dark, that is a lovely feature. However, when TV is on in a darkened room, the MacBook screen brightness continually brightens and darkens according to the brightness of whatever action is happening on TV which drives me crazy. I manually adjust the brightness to suit me but as soon as the images on TV change again, so does my laptop screen brightness. Perhaps there is a way to turn off this function?
